Malahide womens rugby team is in its second of competition. The team has grown from its origins of touch and leprechaun rugby to AIL Divisions two. Training takes place on Wednesday nights and friday nights starting at 7. The nearly built Malahide Rugby Club has great facilities including the use of players gym

There is great team spirit among the ladies on the team with many social occasions been held to help with team building and for pure fun.

Great support is gained from the brilliant coaching staff of Declan Berkeley and John O'Connell. We are recruiting new players week in week out and are arranging friendlies for all the new players.

There are currently plans to set up an underage structure which would follow the same age system as the boys U14 and U17 which will hopefully be linked with the schools in the surrounding areas. The U17 are now training on Monday evenings in the club. All these matches would follow the schools system of NON-CONTACT or Leprechaun rugby as it is known.
